The LocoGPS app
Everything your tracker knows, in one app. For iPhone and Android, and in the browser on your computer.
What the app does
Walk mode and activities
In walk mode the tracker locates every 10 seconds. The app also detects walks on its own and shows your week at a glance.
Geofences
Create as many geofences as you like, for example around your home or garden. If your dog leaves, you get a push notification right away, and again when it comes back.
History
Replay every route of the last 365 days, point by point.
Dog map
Poop bag dispensers, dog meadows, drinking water and vets near you. If you find poison bait, you warn other LocoGPS users nearby.
Share deviceFamily and friends follow along via a link.
Light and soundThe tracker lights up and beeps so you can find your dog.
Battery alertIf you like, the app tells you when the battery is getting low.
Also in the browserLocoGPS also runs on your computer at live.locogps.de.
How often the tracker locates
You set the interval in the app. The less often the tracker locates, the longer the battery lasts.
| Precise | every 2 minutes | our recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Balanced | every 5 minutes | the battery lasts longer |
| Deep sleep | every hour | longest battery life, cannot be tracked live in between |
| Walk mode | every 10 seconds | for the exact route of your walk |
| Live mode | every 5 seconds for 3 minutes | as often as you like |
